Don't know difference--just know I've installed on 3 911's, Jeep GC and 2 Audi S5's in the HEAT of Summer, and it's amazing stuff. The ceramic is the key. Cost is always (here at my guy who's the best in town) $399. On tint jobs for $99 you will get a $99 tint job.

My brother got his Kia Optima done at Executive Tint off Gessner Rd. I plan on going there this weekend to get mine done. It has like 800 reviews on google with a 4.9 rating. I'm not sure what type they put on, but they have a lifetime warranty.

I am looking to get ceramic tints (Huper Optik probably) and have gotten 2 quotes of $499 for the C7 -- I know ceramic tint is more expensive, but this seems really expensive....is ceramic this expensive or should I look elsewhere?

I had Ceramic tinting installed on our 2015. It is superior to the standard tinting. Transparency is great, HEAT rejection if much better. I'm in Redding, CA; Had the hatch and the two little side windows done for $250

I've had good experience with EVS Motors. 2012 Lexus and 2015 Vette. 399.00 for Huper Optik on the Vette. They are at 12320 Bellaire Blvd. They are also good for alignment and tire mounting, PPF and more.

Thanks for the input everyone -
I ended up getting $399 at Executive Motorsports... - they seem to have a pretty good reputation (fingers crossed)
Im going in next weekend after picking up my car.

Sorry I caught this late...
But the guy that did my clear bra also did my tint, he is well known in the Corvette and BMW groups in Houston, does AMAZING work and has been doing it forever. He does many many high end cars (lambos, Ferraris, etc). I got the non-ceramic but he does do ceramic for cheaper than 399 and he does the back windows in one piece as well and takes his time. I HIGHLY recommend this guy.
All i'm going to say is.... scroll down his facebook page and look at all the C7's and C7 Z06's he works on in Houston...
The white one back in June is mine.

For sure. I've know about Executive for years and years, and not to say that they are not good or anything, but when I was looking I wanted sure proof of the guy working on the (multiple) C7's before mine.
I posted in the Southwest section Houston thread, and like 3-4 guys shot back with this guy's name and as repeat customers. So I went to his facebook page, saw many C7's just in the recent months, and it was game over.
Not to mention, the guy is SUPER nice to talk to and work with...you can tell he takes pride in his work.
