Default 1LT vs 2LT vs 3LT

I have been shopping but now decided on the car.
a C7!
I found after thinking about it. I'm going with a 1lt.
Simply because 4-5 last five Corvette's had the heads-up and heated
seats, memory seats and mirror's. I didn't use any of them in 8 years!

3 options I don't miss. Then since it has the telescoping wheel
and the passenger power seat. The 1lt is lightest and perfect for me.

I found a car. 7 speed yes I'm staying stick!
So Blade Silver 7 speed Z-51 1lt with the competition seats.
Not crazy about the swede steering wheel but I can replace that to
the stock leather one and sell it!
Hope they have still have the car!

With all its features, a 1LT Z51 is hardly a penalty box. Go for it!!

The only feature I want from the 2LT is the HUD. I'm hoping 2015s have HUDs accross the line, but it's highly unlikely. :/

I have got to have HUD. Been spoiled since 2006. Once you have had HUD, you will never go back!!

How much lighter is a 1lt vs a 2 or 3lt? I can't imagine it being that significant

I just made the same decision, I ordered a 1Lt for similar reasons. HUD doesn't work if you wear Polarized sunglasses, both of my BMW's have it and you can't see it. The rest of the options to me didn't add up to 5 grand worth of value. I was very close to going with the competition seats but after sitting in the regular seats I felt they were more than adequate.

I also like the idea of less complexity in the entire car, less to break and less weight.

I also ordered a 1LT. I figured I would change the seats out anyways so the heat/cool and the wing adjustments, memory, etc would all go to waste. I can't stand HUD and keep it off always on past cars. In the end it was between 1LT and 3LT (for Brownstone) and for 10K I can think of better things to do than have brown interior, so black it is, lol.

The Brownstone interior is one that appeals to some and not at all to others. Personally I think the 1LT is a fully equiped car and more. I have had 3LTs previously and have rarely ever used any of that overpriced crap. 8 grand for a 3LT, forget about it. Heated seats in a Corvette, get real. Have we become that soft that we need are behinds warmed on cool mornings. These are high performance sports cars not Cadillacs!

I also have a 1LT, Z51 headed my way. Nav, Mag Shocks, Dual Exhaust. Mine will be seeing a lot of track time. Also in silver with the stinger stripe, black wheels and red calipers.

Ooooh, didn't know you can't see HUD with polarized glasses--that's no good.

I know mine is a C6 and so the system may be very different but I can see my HUD just fine with polarized sunglasses.

I can see HUD in my "07 with polarized shades. I hope that it holds true for the new one when it gets here.

I think that's some smart reasoning. 1LT seems to be all you should really need.

I was referencing BMW's HUD, maybe Chevy is different. Either way the display screen with more information is right in front of you too, what I read was that the display is the same as the C7 race car.

The thing I wish I could get is the new feature coming out in 2015 for the track display and video. That would be a cool option.

I have the 1lt and love it. Maybe I would miss all the other options if I had it. Sometime ignorance is good. If I don't know it, I wouldn't miss it.

I've got all that softball fluffy stuff in my CTS Cadillac. Don't need it in a sports car.
