I bet some do. Welcome to the internet. Its true theres hostility on this forum but on the other hand, if you werent playing the "If you can guess Ill tell" approach, Im sure a lot of it would have been avoided.
If youre posting to be helpful and inform other forum members, great. Post the issues and the pics. This whole "only if you say pretty please teehee" makes me want to throw a Porsche and a Viper at you.
If you re-read the thread you should notice I did not start any "If you can guess Ill tell" approach and nowhere did I say "I'll send if you say please," all I'm saying is I'll send them if you want to see them for any reason other than thinking I'm a liar. I don't like people who think I would lie over something so silly, so I don't want to share my pics with them. Isn't that fair enough?
If I came on here claiming ot be a multimilloinnaire who bangs supermodels owns my own island and jet plane, etc. then yeah I can understand people not believing me and asking for proof - but over a claim of cracked tires? WTF lol.
I was posting maturely until c7jake started asking for proof and implying I'm lying or something. There are many cool and mature guys here (I've gotten to know 3 who live in my area and we are in touch now outside of this forum), so for the majority of normal people here I'm willing to share pics. If they want to post it here or show c7jake or cruiter that's up to them, but I won't be giving either of those two my time of day.
I won't hold my breath for pics that shoulda been posted in the first place
Surely of interest to most C7 owners.
Maybe I can't post pics because I made everything up and am not even a C7 owner for that matter. Maybe I'm a 16 year old living in my parents basement and claiming to have a C7 with cracked tires for attention
If you want to participate in forums you have to learn that it's not important what people think, if your intentions are solid and just, in your mind.
Quit the stuff of "post/not post"and put the pics up. Let's the chips fall and walk away. I know jake and coulter don't care what you do...
I'll sleep on it. Either way I will be sending pics, either pm'ing them to normal members here who want to see them or I'll just post on this thread, or maybe even on a whole new thread. This thread has already gone to the ******* lol
GM SERVICE BULLETIN #04-03-10-013 ☛WARNING If temps drop below 20°F/−7°C, don't move a '14 Corvette CRACKED TIRES SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY Should GM risk shipping cars in these temps?
Warning isn't noted in the C7 owner's manual.
Either way I will be sending pics to normal members here who want to see them or I'll just post on this thread, or maybe even on a whole new thread.
I think many of would be curious to see the pictures, just because it may become a concern for those of us who live in warmer than where you are climates, but where its still get down to around 0F (-18C) as our tires age and the rubber becomes more brittle.
lol that's the third time you've edited this post in a row since yesterday, that I've noticed at least, and possibly more than 3. Not just for a typo or an additional thought but replacing the whole post itself. Obsessed much?

Yes I will post them, the car should arrive in 5-6 hours. It might not be the first thing I do after it arrives, but definitely will be the next time I log on here. I'll post them in my "C7 landed" thread.

Windsor's had a very cold/snowy winter...no cracks in my tires. I drove it home 500km on a very cold day. How about some detailed pics of these alleged "cracks".
The Corvette winter police will be coming to repossess your car. When you signed you buyer's order, you agreed to love, honor and cherish your Corvette and to keep it stored during winter. You should have read the fine print....and this is clear photographic evidence of non-compliance.
Actually I just decided something. I will NOT post the pics on this thread lol, BUT I will pm or email them to both gthal and Kenhorse because they seem to be the only two who want to see them for a reason other than thinking that I'm a liar.
I don't want to post them and give c7jake and cruiter the feeling that I care what they think.
If anyone else wants to see them just pm me.
I'll likely send them tomorrow late afternoon/early evening, OR Sunday night, because I'm leaving town for the weekend.
Well, if you do email pics. to select forum members, I am hoping you will send them to those that will share them here on CF C7 General Forum, so that we concerned Corvette fans will be able to know what the problems and faults are with these tires going forward.
If you're going to talk the talk, then walk the walk. Two detailed photos. Up close of your car showing the cracks, and same in the showroom of tires on a car there. And the detail should show they're on C7's. If the dealer said what he said, post the name and phone # of the dealer and whom you spoke to. If not, your statement just isn't credible and you should ask a mod to pull the thread.
There are other tires (Yoko AD-08 as an example) that warn of the same thing. People need to realize that these tires are NOT meant for cold weather!!! Traction becomes dangerous and the tires become hockey pucks.
P.S. My wife just told me to tell GM "neener, neener" for being so dumb for shipping these tires in Winter and then need to pay for warranty work. She thinks GM should only deliver cars when the weather is warmer. I think that is extreme but she does have a point

Thanks, I know you weren't.
I think just two of them were.
lol I still can't understand why though, its not as though I claimed something great about myself. What on earth do they think would possibly be a reason for someone to make up a claim that their tires have cracks? Me thinks only a pathological liar would allow that thought to even cross their mind, because people usually assume others think like they do

Don't worry about the clowns that will say just about anything to belittle a member here. I read the moronic responses here to do just that.....
From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

Cracked tires on showroom cars with zero miles??
A line of BS by a salesman?
I highly doubt Sherwood has taken delivery of 34 C7's, to date!
Set the record straight...you started the topic.

OMG. This tire cracking thing was litigated in a massive thread that was closed by the moderator. There is AMPLE evidence that ultra high performance tires crack when exposed to low temperatures, particularly if the car is moved. Wasn't this a problem with the OP's car, cracked tires on delivery? It was in the other thread. Why shouldn't we believe the OP?

Yes the picture in that thread was of my car.
Initially c7jake kept egging me on and accusing me of lying and insisting I must show a picture to prove that my tires did indeed crack, and once I did (on this thread) he didn't even man up that he was wrong in his accusatoins towards me,and instead started a new thread with my picture and a bunch of bolded text and various fonts, while mentioning the dealership's name, but leaving out the part I already posted here that it wasn't the dealer's fault and they will be replacing all tires under warranty...despite that some people were even asking him and doubting whether they will be replaced or not. Irresponsible and immature on c7jake's part.
Based on that I'm actually happy that a mod did the right thing and closed the other thread.
