Default Interior Colors?

I have been inquiring about a C7 coupe with a gray interior. Have seen pictures of 2 gray interiors. One is a dark gray, almost charcoal. The other is very light, almost silver. The only code I have seen is 143, but the dealer couldn't tell me if it was the light or dark gray. Does anyone know where I could get this resolved. Would hate to order a car and get an interior color I didn't want!

The gray interior is a VERY light gray!

There's only one gray offered in the C7 interior and as sccaracer46 said it's a light shade of gray. If you've seen pictures on a Chevy web site showing a dark gray I can tell you with 100% certainty that those pictures aren't accurate. Here are some photos I took of an actual C7 gray interior. I used a strong flash so the gray looks somewhat bright but I can assure you that in real life the gray looks very close to this.

I like the gray seating surface color, but not so much the almost black color that accompanies the gray int., the wheel, console, doors and dashboard accenting. I saw a coupe with the Torch Red exterior. Very attractive.

Depending on the exterior color, I may or not choose gray interior.

It is very lite.If it had black carpet it would take the brightness out (obviously).Especially in direct sunlight.I would travel to see and be sure.

As others have said it is very light gray. If the carpet was black I would have ordered it (like the red and Kalahari interiors), but having seen it in person, there is no way the gray carpet will stay clean.

Thanks for all the help with the interior color issue. I actually saw a 2014 convertible at the Chevy display at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and it had a very dark gray interior. The salesman couldn't tell me anything specific about it. I will stay with the black interior. The gray is much too light.

The color is very light and so is the carpet. I seems to me that keeping the carpet looking new will be hard.

You did not mention your choice for the exterior. If you are going with the 3LT model, the Brownstone looks very nice. Of course your exterior color may have some impact on that choice.

Although close, the "SevenTurns" pictures appear to me to be more representative for my car.

For those who like the gray interior but fear the light gray carpet, one option is to add black mat from Lloyds. That's what I will do if I end up going with the gray interior.

To me it's no different than any other color to keep clean. I'll never get in it with mud filled shoes.
