Default Maxie Price vette dealer?

Although I live in WA state I plan on flying to a high volume dealer and driving my new baby cross country early this fall (shooting for a shark grey 2015). I bought my C5 (2000) from Maxie Price near Atlanta when I was living in Georgia. No complaints then. I don't see them on any Forum vendor list. Can anyone shed any light on Maxie Price (Loganville, GA) as a Corvette dealer? Have they fallen out of favor for some reason? I know Hendrick is in that area but they have high dealer fees. Would prefer the Atlanta area but certainly would consider others (Criswell in MD for example). Thanks for any insight.

if you use the search function in the red bar above you may find long-ago discussions. the dealer was kicked off here for some bad practices. since then, it's been a place that some won't go to. and if you further ck on here, you'll find forum dealers w. good reps.

the rest is up to you to do.

Run, Run do not walk the other way. Try Les Stanford in Dearborn, Mi. Tell them I sent you.

Default Dealer kudos

Thanks. That's one vote for Les Stanford (MI) and one vote for MacMulkin (NH). These responses will definitely influence me.

Go do a search on MacMulkin and that might help (or any forum dealer). At the end of the day, who has allocation, best price and no dealer fees. Pretty simple--now start calling...

If you’re looking for a 2015 check with Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg ID, they deal big time and are only hours away from you. I bought one of their 2014 allocations before they sold out; very good dealership, aggressive pricing and sales personnel that follow up on details after they have your deposit. Save yourself a plane ticket, your driving time and gas money.

Bought my first Vette from Maxie Price when I lived in GA back in '02. Bought Z06 in '08 from a very small dealer in AR leveraging the $9K off MSPR of Kerbeck at the time.
Both of these experiences were fine.

Buying my C7 from CF Dealer Rick Conti and doing a museum delivery in a few weeks. Contacted Rick for the first time in Dec just before the holiday shutdown. We agreed on price within two minutes and my car (Z51 loaded with options, yes some that say have constraints) is due to roll off the line this week (should be today ).

I would highly encourage you to contact Rick. I'm sure the other big CF dealers are also good however I got what I wanted from my first conversation with Rick and all my interactions with him have been good. No reason I won't be using him when it is time to buy that awesome Z06 in 1-2 years.

Called them last year about buying a car, talked to the owners son. We made a deal on a car I told him I would be there in about 10 days. A few days before leaving I called them to make sure everthing was ok before I drove out. THe son was back in college, so I talked to another salesman. I told him the price we had agreed upon, and he told me NO way would they sell the car for that. The son would never return any of my calls. They offered me the car for about $7000 more. I told them exactly what I thought about there dealership and where they could put that car!

No, that was Johnny Carson's law firm. (For all you youngsters, the guy before Leno.)

And just for the record and the OP's info, my last 2 vettes came from Ken at Fichtner Chevy, a forum vendor.

Wanna make your life easy? Call Tommy jr or Ron at Macmaulkin. They are top notch. Best price, service and most important, they have the allocation.
