There isn't anything not to like about that color, it is one of the best of the color offerings. Probably the toughest choice about that color is, which interior color does one choose, because there are several that go well with it.

Congrats to you guys.

Big Red is going to the Long Beach GP next Friday. This will be the (and my) 40th LBGP. We'll hang out with the local Corvette club there.

Time to update this thread. It's been one year ago today since Big Red arrived by covered transport from Kerbeck. 18,000 miles later and the car has been an absolute dream! My first Vette.

And about the Long Beach GP last April. I figured out that two canvas folding chairs could slide completely under the box in the trunk that holds the soft top and a big cooler and all our food, clothes, and other stuff could fit in the trunk. I intended to take the Vette to the GP only on Friday, but it got so many compliments/attention that I took it all three days. It was almost overwhelming.

I've heard that some people don't like Kalahari. I'm not one of them... ordered my SGM coupe with Kalahari 3LT. Glad to see many of those commenting on your post like it too. It's looks especially great with the red body color you selected. Congrats!

Default Looks familiar...

Your car looks familiar. Did you order it or buy it from Kerbeck inventory? It looks like one that I was interested in. I got my Torch Red 3LT Coupe 6 days after you on 2/19/14. I was like a kid in a candy store going through Kerbeck's inventory and Amoni was my sales person too. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. Happy motoring.

I bought it from Kerbeck's in transit from the factory inventory. It had 3LT Kalahari (I wanted black, but I'm glad I got Kalahari) and chrome Z51 split spoke wheels (I wanted silver painted but I'm glad I got chrome).

Interesting....I did too. The 3LT I chose was on a truck and 1 week out when I bought it back in January, 2014. Intercity delivered it to my door on February 19, 2014.

Your's was one of the in transit inventory cars I looked at. I wanted red on red though. Good luck with yours.

Bump after 4 1/2 years and 70,000 miles. Still going strong, still lots of compliments, still loving my Stingray vert.
