I am curious about the interior of the 1lt as far as its quality. I purchased a 1lt with z51 package. The reason is I love the arctic white with adrenaline red interior. But I wanted only the seating surface red and not the rest of the interior.Only saw the 2lt at dealer so am curious about the materials used in the 1 I,m waiting for.

Same materials used in the 1LT as the 2LT except for the center arm rest and door arm rest. Leather covered in the same color as the seats you pick.

Quality is the exact same.

Quality is the same. I think it only changes once you move into 3LT where you get NAPPA leather wrap around everything.

I love it! Plus keep in mind that there are aftermarket folks where you can get a red console cover if you want to if you think it needs it. I for one don't think it does.

I also ordered a 1LT Z51. Laguna Blue with Blade Silver full length stripes. I origionally ordered the grey interior, but was disapointed when I saw photos of the light grey carpet. I switched my interior color to the "safety" of Black.

The red seats look good on other forum member's blue cars, but would be a little "too flashy" for me if combined with the silver stripes. I also resent the $600 up-charge for non-approved color combinations.

I REALLY wish the grey interior came with black carpeting.

I agree. $600 a little too steep for me too.Blue with black is an awesome combo anyway.

Even if you were willing to pay the $590 charge, you would not have been able to get black carpet with gray interior.

I'm sorry, I was unclear in my post, I meant I wouldn't like to pay the up-charge for the red seats. I know they couldn't stop the line to "mix & match" a special interior for me.

I agree with you about the gray carpets...I don't know why Chevrolet does this now with their gray interiors??I had a 08 coupe with gray and it had black carpet nice contrast,when I bought my 11 Camaro with gray interior. I was quite shocked with the light gray carpet when I took delivery. I took care of it with a set a Loyds mats all around in black it helped a lot ....just a suggestion fwiw.....blue with gray interior is a killer combination....love that contrast as well!...What ever you decide will be a winner......MAN YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS ALL NEW CORVETTE....Promise!

In the 1LT what material the center and door arm rest is vinyl?

Any hard plastic piece in the doors or dash?

I haven't seen a 1LT in person and didn't know what the quality is like. One of the guys at the dealership I bought my car from also bought a C7 but bought it with the 1LT and mine has the 3LT Brownstone interior. He said my C7 was better, and I said they were the same car. He said, "No, you got the 3LT. Trust me. Yours is better."

I've still yet to see a 1LT in person. It can't be THAT different, right?
