Default Best portable air compressor?

I am getting all season non-run flats for cold weather use.
For emergency use I think I need a portable air compressor.
Most of them I had in the past were terrible.
Anyone have anything that they would recommend?

I would check out the Viair line of portable compressors. They're pretty serious equipment not the toys you find in the local Autozone etc.
I'm sure there are other alternatives, but I'm happy with the Viair I have permanently mounted in my pick up.

I have several Slime brand compressors that I carry around on my motorcycles and they inflate a plugged motorcycle tire pretty quickly. That's a lot less volume than a car tire though.

This little compressor for $25 is hard to beat. I have one in each of my cars. At Harbor Freight.

Same here. Slime has one that's cheap, small and always works. As long as the bead isn't broken, it'll eventually air up anything.
