This is BS. So GM starts employee discounts the day they increase prices $2000. What a turn off. This kind of crap pushed on the consumer really turns me off and want to walk away from purchasing a new c7. Just my opinion
You can always go pay $90k for a Porsche...

I knew it was going to happen. The Z51 is still a deal at that price!
So what happens to cars already on dealers lots. Do these get repriced? Do forum dealers who had $3k discounts now make that only $1k?

Of course it did. I just cancelled my order with my dealer!!!..hahaha! It was still at 1100 so not sure. But that would suck royally if this is true. I will say this. If it is true, I will not be buying a Corvette. Chevy can SHOVE IT!(if it is true)

Kerbeck web site shows all cars at MSRP, the discounts are not shown anymore. If this is the case I made it by 1 week.

I'm sure GM or the dealers ( the less reputable ones anyway ) will try to screw you but in all fairness I don't really know what happens in this situation. But what I can tell you is that I am in the industrial gas business and when the polar vortex was running around the U.S. the price of propane spiked 33% in two weeks and we knew about it ahead of time. But we sold our remaining inventory at their normal prices until we exhausted that product.

At 1100 you would be effected by the increase. I would hope GM would honor any order at 2000+.

I don't think it will affect me, as my C7 arrived Saturday and is sitting in MacMulkin's indoor storage facility waiting for me to pick it up when the weather clears.

Usually mid-year price increases are much smaller. I would be surprised if it was that much for the new model year increase.

Yes, for anyone who already has one it is. It means their car is now worth more.

This would only apply to cars that are invoiced to the dealer after today or whenever the new price goes into effect. Cars still on dealer lots will still retain the original window sticker price.
