For me it depends on looks, performance, cost, transmission options, and availability of a convertible. Time will tell as for now everything about the C8 is speculation.

It looks small like a Miata. Small is not good. I'll hang on to the C7. It's the last front engine RWD Corvette. Electric comes after the ME. Yuck. Shoot me.

Prob not for the base model unless it’s over 500 hp. What’s the rush anyway?!

I hope they make it soon, so I can afford a lightly used C7, my dream car.

I'll wait a year or 2 after when they get all the kinks fix or if any. Right now I'm luv'n my C7. If the price is reasonable enough, I might consider it.

That looks hot. My 2017 Grand Sport 7MT may be getting traded in if the C8 looks that nice.

Nothing about a mid engine car is appealing to me. I know I’m old school, but I want my V8 in the front powering the rear wheels. So it looks like my C7 will be with me for quite a while. (Best car I have ever owned)

It's somebody's rendering. Autoweek recently ran actual spy shots that it looks like the rendering may be based on..

Leather dash delaminating hasn't been fixed in C6 or C7 generation. A8 issues still not fixed in 2019 C7. Overheating on the track. Paint issues continue despite a new paint shop on the production line. What makes you think it will only take a year or two to resolve all the issues the C8 will probably have? Just curious, no offense meant.

At this moment, NO. I'm enjoying my new C7 way too much. Will I want one and consider one in the future? Maybe. We'll see when its actually a car that can be purchased and whether or not it moves me like the C7 did.
