Default OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Fresh out of the Wrapper

I find triple-black C7 Corvettes as addictive as cigarettes are to rebellious 14-year-olds. I could look at one of these all day, but as arresting as ATX-C7′s new Corvette may be, that’s not what makes his car Corvette of the Week. This quote makes his car Corvette of the Week: “Coming from a Porsche 911, this car is SO much fun to drive.”

More on the blog.

WOW!! HUGE honor

I really appreciate it, coming from 911's this C7 is simply stunning inside and out. Don't know why I'd ever buy another Porsche.

Again, thank you for honoring my car as the Optima Corvette of the week--VERY cool!

Hey congrats man! She really looks great, nothing on wheels sexier than a black Corvette! We were in the game with MacMulkin the same time. I remember telling Tommy hello for you when I picked up my car. Now we are both in business! Enjoy that black beauty!

I said it earlier, but I will say it again, that black on black, but not murdered out, is striking!

Thank you to my fellow CF members who help me make it through the WAIT!!

Hats off to the MacMulkin Team--professional from beginning to end.

Will have a review later of pros/cons after I've had time to get a few hundred miles.

Until then...no words are needed.

Enjoy:

That's what a polish and wax job does!

Sweet!!!!!!

Yep know CQuartz well. Good stuff, but for me I like (give me a reason to spend a few hours going over every line) polishing and waxing every 90-120 days...it's a great stress reliever for me and I actually enjoy it.

Since it's not a daily driver, and I wash it once a week (I enjoy that too), CQuartz is not needed

I'm one of the few out there that actually enjoys the waxing and polishing--call me crazy

Yes on lowering--just need to find someone in Austin that can do it (that I trust).

Also, someone had asked for black interior shot (2LT)--here you go:

Dude,

Like I mentioned earlier, all you need is a jack, jackstand and a 10mm ratcheting wrench.

The whole car took me 20 minutes to do. Go check the DIY threads for a visual. Its so simple that it hardly counts as doing a mod.

Agreed. Doing mine in about 4 hours when I change my pads to Carbotechs.

Thanks for taking the 2LT interior shots. This is exactly what I'm getting.

I disagree. Just my opinion not fact. The calipers sort of destroy the stealthy look of the car. I love the car in black.
