Here is what I found
General Motors has released the final 2017 model year Corvette stats. A total of 32,782 Corvettes were produced: 34.3% Stingray Coupe, 30.2% Grand Sport Coupe, 18.9% Z06 Coupe, 7% Stingray Convertible, 6.2% Grand Sport Convertible and 3.3% Z06 Convertible.
Once again, automatics more than doubled the production of manuals at 77%. The 1LT package was the most popular for Stingrays and Grand Sports, while the 3LZ package was the most popular for the Z06.
For colors, Arctic White was the most popular with 18%, followed by Watkins Glen Gray with 17.7%, Black with 16%, Torch Red with 14%, Admiral Blue with 9%, Blade Silver with 6%, Long Beach Red with 6%, Corvette Racing Yellow with 4%, Black Rose with 4% and Sterling Blue with 2%. Note that if you add the two shades of red together, then “red” would be the most popular color with 20%.

But I must admit, my favorite color is CHROME !!

Can’t imagine why anybody would buy a Corvette that isn’t yellow!
It IS the Corvette racing color. After all, would anybody buy a Ferrari that wasn’t red? Or a Jaguar (or any British roadster) that wasn’t British Racing Green?

Always nice to have real info! It's interesting that White and Black have been on the top of the list in recent years! Both none colors!

Last Corvette (C6) was Arctic White. New one is again Arctic White.
I'd love to say it is to pay homage to the original from '53 (yes, to some degree it is) but it's actually because it is a stunning look- to me! Guess that's why Baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors...
Now if GM had offered a Z06 in Lime Rock Green when I was shopping last year, I admit it would have been a VERY tough decision...
No bad choice on colors, except maybe for the God awful orange (hiding from Foosh
)
