There is no requirement to put any money down to order any car. That's entirely up to the dealer. And if no money changes hands when the car is ordered, neither party is obligated to complete the deal, since there is no contract. I have ordered twice in the past with no money down (not Corvettes). The negotiation on price didn't take place until after the car arrived at the dealer. I could have walked away at any time, although I did purchase both times.

that is true but im pretty sure in the case of the c7 that every dealer is taking a minimum 1-2k dollar non-refundable deposit if not more

Yeah, my local dealer wanted $1000 and I was about to go ahead and put the money down and wait. But suddenly the clouds parted and a single ray of sunshine pointed to a dealer, 90 miles away, who had MY car already in stock.... and I got it for $2200 under MSRP.

Where is the inventory section? Are you referring to the "Buy a Vette" section on the left side and then checking dealership inventory there for each individual dealer?

Order mine today. I was told that I would get $1000 off MSRP for a Z51 2LT. I have a supplier discount but unable to find a dealer that would honor that on a Z51.

Les Stanford is the only large volume Corvette dealer I am aware of that will do supplier pricing on Z51's. That's where I have mine ordered with supplier pricing confirmed.

When I ordered my car from R. Hendricks in Duluth GA I asked if they would give a discount to a CF member and he said "yes." So I was happy and love this car.

I've seen $2-5k off. No one should be paying MSRP.

Friend got $3k off an ordered z51 and that was months ago. The first one in Arizona that was preordered 12 months in advanced. Not all dealers are scum.

Can you tell me the dealer and a sales contact in AZ that actually delivered a Z-51 under MSRP? I'm ready to drive over today....

Thanks
