Default FYREANT's Build Thread: If you build it, they will come! (UPDATED!)

Ok so I think I have finally gotten enough small things done, and also enough on order to at least start a build thread. .

I've got several items I will be looking to do over the coming months, as quickly as my funding will allow me to do so. As of right now, I've got a few items on the way (NPP exhaust mufflers, Z51 sway bars, Blade Spoiler in Carbon Flash Metallic) and I'm tapped out for another month or so. so without further ado, I will give the stage to Elvira, my mistress, and let her show you what's she's working with now. Let's start this from the beginning..

Bone Stock, just the way I got her:

MOD 1 & 2: Lowered on factory bolts, and acrylic blackout side and rear markers:

MOD 3: Evil Eyes headlight vinyl's:

MOD 4 & 5: Carbon fiber vinyl for front chrome strip, and for Stingray fangs:

MOD 6: Window Tint - 15% all the way around:

MOD 7: CF Painted Fish. I love the fishes 'cause they're so delicious!

MOD 8: Underbody Jacking Pucks:

MOD 9: LED License plate bulbs:

I though I was actually ordering additional LED bulbs for the trunk from RPI, but noticed that I actually ordered the LED strip. Guess I will use that somewhere else as I don't like the look of that for the trunk and order two more LED bulbs.

I know I have a package arrived tomorrow (think its the blade spoiler) and another package on Wednesday (think its my rattle cans for Cyber Grey and Carbon Flash from automotive Touchup). I am toying with the idea of spraying my emblems carbon flash metallic myself rather than dishing out the cash for some that are already done. Not sure yet though..

Still waiting on shipping notifications for sway bars and NPP mufflers.

Since I have to take off the whole rear end do the mufflers, I will probably do the spoiler then, and am even considering tinting the inside of the tails myself even though I said I wouldn't and that I would wait to get some professionally done.

Next update should be a nice one..

FYREANT, I like the look of the vinyl carbon fiber covering on the front grill chrome strip. Where did you find it? Thanks.

I'm in Florida as well, how is the 15% for night time driving? Any issues with visibility? That's when I do most of my driving.

Its the same texture as the stinger vinyls I put on. Get it here: http://www.vettefx.com/c7-stripes-1.html

I dont drive a lot at night and mainly got it to protect from the sun. At night I drive with the windows down most of the time. That being said, when I drive with the windows up at night, its not that bad..

Yeah doesn't seem like it'd be. I think I can go limo tint on the rear window but it'd probably be best to go 15% all the way around.

[QUOTE=FYREANT;1586821441]Thank you. Which ones if I may ask?
1.The evil eyes, too much contrast between the paint and vinyl at that location, stinger stripes get away with it as it is compartmenatlized..
2.The cf on the fangs, looks added on, not OEM
3.The fish CF don't match other cf on car, would look nice in carb flash to match other items on car, though....

All just my opin...

The eyes don't look evil. Your car looks stoned.

The evil eyes color is actually almost spot on under the sun.
I took the pic at night so it may look a little off. The stingers were more just a personalization and I actually agree on the CF fish. I wish they were real CF and not painted CF. I didnt realize until they arrived that they were painted CF. Oh wells. You live and you learn!

Not sure if he is a vendor but got them from Two Seven Vinyl. Contact him here: twosevenvinyl@gmail.com. They were around $35.

Looks real good, but I think I'd pass on the headlight wrap.

Mind if I ask where did you get the jacking pads from?

My Carbon Flash metallic spoiler arrived yesterday, and NPP mufflers are ETA Thursday. So looks like a weekend of mods for me this weekend
