So who has placed a deposit to order a 2015 Stingray as soon as the order bank opens?
I did so a few months back. Let us see if the 15's are really going to start production on 08/11, as rumor has it as of now. I am hoping that all quality control issues; especially with the paint and workmanship are sorted out by then. Now the decision boils down to Laguna Blue OR Sunrise Orange?

Placed an order on 4-15 for a 2014 coupe that very well could turn into a 2015. tr,z51,3lt,comp seats, ar interior,carbon fiber dash,cf stripes,cf mirror and spoiler. waiting is tough.

Keep in mind, that for those of you who think you will be getting the first cars off the line - just like in 2014, it is all about dealer allocation. Unless your name is Rick Hendrick, who can call GM and pretty much can get what he wants for his personal collection, or you are number 1 at Kerbeck, MacMulkin, Hendrick, Criswell, Coughlin or Les Stanford (only dealers with more than 20 allocations per month), there is no guarantee you will be getting your car asap once production starts on 8/11.
For those who have waited months for a 2014 because their dealer has little to no allocation - don't expect 2015 to be any better.

I'm in.
I put down a deposit on my long awaited 15. I'm number 29 on the list at Les Stanford. Waiting really sucks but I'm sure it will be worth it.
I will be getting a Laguna Blue Z51 conv. with Kalahari interior. I wanted Cyber Gray but that's gone now.
Anyhow, I will have a new Sting Ray to match my 67 Sting Ray.

I did today trade my 2012 z06 and gave my dealer my option choices 2lt, TR, black interior, Z51, mag ride, performance exhaust, Nav, chrome wheels, body colored vents.

Aug is about one month later than normal production start which is last week of June then Two week July shutdown. So we are better off no start stop on 2015 model year.

For me personally, I plan to wait for the 2nd year 2016 Z06. Mine should be worth about $20k by then.

2015 order
I tried to put a deposit down on a 2015 Stingray vert but was told by Kerbeck that they are not taking deposits yet. They told me they don't even have a date yet as to when they will take orders for the 2015.
