I was wondering what the C7 would look like with 10 inch rims. This picture gives me that image. I kind of like it. A lot more wheel gap than necessary. But maybe i can loosen the bolts and bring it down a little bit.....

Exactly. Just be like "I felt threatened. There was more than one guy".

I try not to leave my car anywhere for too long, unless I can see it. Even in a nice part of town you always seem to attract kids who show up on bicycles that start snapping pics of your rims and calling their friends. Regardless of rim type, a corvette rim with a run flat attached will fetch a pretty penny.

That car is a non Z51 ... So it had the basic wheels, or aftermarket ones.

2 things here! The "Garage method" of storage and better area
to live. Bastards even left that rock under the rocker panel.

Base wheels still sell for nearly a grand.
Regardless of being chrome or not. They also have a runflat attached. People will stab you in the kidney for $5 in most parts of the US.

With the rock? positioned under the center point of an almost 50-50 weight F/R C7, it will be a good fulcrum point about as shown. Let the air out of all four tires then pressing down on the car back should compress the rear tires enough to raise the fronts easily off the ground. Once fronts are off, repeat by pressing down the car front to lift rears off the ground.

Think play ground! No way to treat a C7

Or chrome, so somebody with non-Z51 base wheels would be happy to trade up, plus another set of run-flats, if all it cost was to pay a couple of crackheads a pittance for their trouble. Believe me, there are plenty of "respectable businessmen" who think nothing of this.

Or yes, it could have been a few teenagers looking for a quick score by ripping off some wheels and selling them for twenty cents on the dollar to one of the many SoFla rim shops that would rather make extra money than ask questions.

From what I've seen in the for sale section, probably closer to $500 for the wheels. If the tires were still close to new, they might get $1500 total. I still can't believe the terrible things people will do for a little bit of money. I have a distant relative was working at a convenient store and was murdered when a thief robbed the place, and he only got a couple hundred dollars.

I've seen them for more on eBay. Amazing what people would pay for the standard painted wheels.

I might have to get some aftermarket wheels and put mine on ebay. I just hate all the fees they charge, they're getting ridiculous.

I like the 5 spokes. The only other wheels I like are the TSW Nurburgring's, but I can't say I like them 'better'. There's another guy on here that bought the TSW wheels, sold his painted 5 spokes and ended up $50 ahead or something like that.

Yeah, i tripped mine by accident when pulling the wheels. 1 pump of the jack set it off, but even w/o pucks that could be enough to damage the rocker for sure. With the block used on this car I'm pretty sure its ruined.
