Default ZF1 appearance package

If anyone has any additional details, especially price or expected availability, on this package please share. I hear this should be available within four weeks. I would like to get this on my order if the price is reasonable.

Are there any photos available??? It looks like quite a few options to this "appearance package". Kinda confusing.

Haven't heard of this. It sounds like a Z51 face-lift for a non-z51 car?

IMHO it's two fold, GM pushed all suppliers of Z51 components to increase capacity and although it's obvious they couldn't get all suppliers to increase production, their wheel and body part suppliers could so now they have more of these parts than they have orders for. And, they sensed some pent up demand for these cosmetic parts and they are never ones to leave additional profit on the table.

Yeah, it's obvious the wheels and tires weren't the items holding up Z51 production. I agree that Chevy noticed all the 18/19 wheel owners clamoring for Z51 wheels and tires, and decided to cash in with extras from the parts bin. Since there is only a little over a month to order a new '14, there won't be many cars with these packages.

Almost missed this, what a smart move by Chevy.

Probably 50% of buyers want the Z51 option package for the 'look' (wheels and tires/spoiler) or dont like the base wheels and will never track the car.

If GM can push these and sell more non-Z51s to people that will help balance the numbers out some, I'm sure GM never expected the Z51 option to be that popular.

Don't know about the "Z51 Appearance Package" but GM did just annouce a price hike for the "Z51 Performance Pacakge" from $2,800 to $4,000. Base price for coupes and convertibles alsio hike from $51,000 to $53,000.

If by "split fork" they mean the Z51 "tuning fork" wheels, I personally would never consider putting those on my NonZ, disrespectful to those that opted for the full package. I look at those wheel s as more a badge.

I'm really curious about price. Don't see how they could charge more than half the price of Z51, but you never know. If it's more than a nice set of aftermarket wheels then it's not worth it. The way I see it is that it's less than half the Z51 package

Disrespectful? They are wheels, not the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I agree. Wheels are about looks and performance, not respect. Anyone who buys a car for respect has a pretty empty life

I have been talking with MacMulkin and they are saying they way it was released to them is that they will be able to order soon. Yet I have been reading it's going to be a 2015 option. They should know more in 2-4 it's looking like.
