Part Number/Description
23148817 SUNSHADE

GMPartsDirect.com has it for $150.49 + $36.12 for shipping and handling, Total: $186.61 This is the lowest price I've found.

The catch is that since my VIN will show my car is a 1LT, it will not show up as the proper part for my car. So they would not accept a return if it's not the proper part according to there parts matching system. So, you can see that I really need to make sure this is the correct part number.

THANKS.
I'm sorry, but I do not know the part number. I'm sure the contact below can help:

That's pretty cool! It's disappointing how "stripped down" the 1LT is in a lot of ways but I guess it's good to get the price down as low as possible. I'm really looking forward to having this feature in my car when I get it, I get tired of having garage door opener batteries die on me!

I got mine from http://www.gmwholesaledirect.com for $160.43 + $15.16 for shipping. Total $175.59 and they sent me an email asking was I upgrading to the Homelink visor because my 1LT vin did not match for this 2LT/ 3LT part. 23148817 is the part you want.

Ordered mine at Bob@fitchner for $178. Installed in less than 5 minute. The electrical clip was the hardest part to take out. I used a flat screwdriver to pry it off and I did not care if I broke it since I would not be using the old visor anymore. It did not break though. One of the best mod for me. Now I do not need to bring along the remote for the garage and another remote for the Gate to the community.

Ordered mine last Friday and the total was $173.09 (shipping cost was a little less) and they just got back to me today, like you said, asking if I was upgrading. So I expect they will be shipping it soon.

Got my new sunshade yesterday to upgrade my C7 1LT with "Remote Link" and did the air bag warning label cover up all at the same time. I recommend doing the measuring and attaching of the emblem to the carbon fiber paper before placement on the visor.

Okay, for those of you who have done this swap already. Question:

Part# 23148817 gets me a black, microfiber, Homelink equipped visor for my 1LT trim level car?

I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger. My new C7 was just born this week and I want to have this ready for when I get her delivered.

Thanks!!!

Yes, it is Part #23148817 and if you order from GM Wholesale Direct, they will E-mail you to confirm that you are upgrading (They will tell you the part number for the 1LT is 23148819; that will get you what you already have.)

WoW thats a totally different way it attaches from the C6. The C6 uses no screws at all.

Why cant I find this for anywhere close to these prices?! Even when checking all the exact sources list here..... Cheapest I can find is about $225 shipped. Do I need to know a secret handshake??

I ordered this part 3 times at a $163-$180 price, but the companies all canceled them with the reason "part no longer available".

They then re-listed the exact same part at $200+

Shady as $h!t parts companies.

You can get the Homelink transmitters alone for about $20 on Ebay. It probably wouldn't be all that hard to install one into your existing visor or mount elsewhere in your interior if you're a handy type.

You might try these guy's if you haven't already.

Guess they got wise to all of us 1LT owners not wanting to pay 2LT prices just for the "Remote Link" capability...

I agree with above. Ordered mine in mid-June and the lowest I found was $216 shipped to my door. I guessed I just missed the window as I saw some lower prices listed but couldn't get my order in at that price. May have been the time prices were updating with all the GM parts outlets.
