Of the 2015 Corvette related timeline... one item has come true;
the 2015 order guide was made available on (or very near) May 26.

Rumor #2; is supposed to happen tomorrow... the 29th. Is supposedly when GM will accept a 2015 Corvette order via their electronic order system from their dealers

1. does is look like this will be happening?

2. If so, would one get an actual order number - tomorrow on the 29th - for a 2015 ? Allocations haven't yet been announced for 2015 - that I know of...

I have been told orders will not be ready to go in till June 28th not May.

Plant start date is 8/11/14

Dealers will begin consensus and know initial allocations in late June 2014.

Dealers can begin submitting order requests within allocations on June 26, 2014.

Final 2014 Stingrays will be produced on 8/8/14

Dealers will receive their final allocations for 2014 Corvette Stingrays on June 12, 2014.

Supposedly on the 29th, the 2015 Corvette will be in the order system but there is no allocation till late June.

So technically a dealer can place an order on the bank but it will simply sit at Event Code 1100 until the dealer has allocation which will be late June at earliest.

Also, pricing probably won't be out till mid July so the first couple weeks of orders will be placed not knowing what the pricing is for those cars.

I'm being told that no 2015 orders will be entered until late June ??? It would kill me to see others with 2015 order numbers in-hand today.

So today is just when the dealer can start assigning order numbers to his sold lists......the orders are not going anywhere....

It is exciting but I wouldn't get to hurt by not having the number in hand if others get them first. Even if he waits another month to enter the order it will still be in the same spot really. Order number makes the whole thing real though, I'm excited to get one as well!

Correct, don't worry about order numbers. I'm still talking to people who have had order numbers since this time last year and are still sitting at 1100!
