I have the RPI Skirts and the car had to have the drill applied to it to mount them and it killed me to watch, but all was okay, the screws pulled the skirts up tight to the rocker. I hope it was just the frame underneath - it was done at a Chevy dealer.

I drilled mine, but I have to admit I think it's a long shot to think the tape would fail given the skirts are bolted on front and rear without any drilling using factory hardware.

I've been using 3m VHB for years and it will hold most anything as long as surfaces are prepped correctly. The splitter has to be bolted, no question. But my skirts are on in the middle with VHB. 50/50 alcohol/water in a spray bottle, then acetone on the areas and then 3m 94 adhesion promoter and you can hang off the skirt.....downforce my a$$ on the sides....
I agree I installed the mid section of my ACS using 3M VHB with proper preparation and it does hold like a rock.
