Default We're over 30,000 Vettes!

In case anyone wasn't aware, they've broken the 30,000 mark if you go by VIN!

Pretty awesome stuff. I wonder how high it'll end up, 32, 34k maybe?

I wouldn't be surprised if 2015 ends up being roughly the same! I think GM might just have a hit on its hands, for a little while at least!

A hit, sure, but a mere blip in GM's sales...
They sell roughly 60K pick-ups/month Vs 3.5K Vettes!

Absolutely, but that's a much bigger market than 2-door sports cars

I'd bet that GM is quite pleased with how this car has performed saleswise so far, especially if it stays consistent for a few years.

And the pickups don't cost a whole lot less in many cases.

Won't MY15 be at least a month shorter since MY14 was extended a month?

Perhaps, we don't know but we do know they will hit the ground running in August instead of the slow ramp up they did in the MY14 roll out.

That should easily make up for any reduction in production months.

I don't see demand being much different in 2015 either. There's probably a good chance there will be an extension next year too. The Z06 will be a factor too.

Actually, over 31K as the Premier coupes and convertibles had a different set of VINs.

That is awesome to see sales rebound since the last year above 30k was 2008

Congrats & I wish I could have joined you guys!
But I found the C7 too tight to drive stick with my 6'5" legs.
My C6 turned 3 years old this past wknd -& I never planned on keeping it this long.
