When does 2015 production start

I posted a thread asking the question about ordering a 2014 with options I like. The deadline I was told, was about 2 weeks ago. So it's safe to say new orders are for 2015's and people still waiting for their orders, ordered late in the production year.

It is my understanding that 2015 start of production is now 7/21.

Wonder where this comes from???? I checked my TPW on a 2014 Vert this morning and was told it's 7/21 and this has not changed since last week. I also see other forum members with the same TPW. As far as I can determine 2014 production will run till 8/8

They extended the 2014 production run by almost a month to meet demand. MY14 ends on 8/8/14 and MY15 production starts on 8/11/14
Guessing MY15 will be an 11 month run.

I have a Military discount good till 12/5/14. My local dealer has agreed to honor the discount as long as it's still valid when the car arrives. Thought I had plenty of time to get my 2015 order going but beginning to wonder now. I don't see anything on the 2015 constraint list someone put up on another thread that I want so that should help but I guess I don't understand how the build sequence works. My dealer only has 3 allocations so do the big guns get first priority or does anyone know?

Books have been written about the allocation of units amongst the various dealers and the process continues to be easy to misunderstand but if your dealer got three allocations for the current model year he will be able to expect three for the about to start model year, but that means he is in the group of 2000+ dealers who did not get early allocations and therefore can expect to get his first allocation some time in November.
Once you have a VIN you can complete the paperwork but that means buying sight unseen. I do not see any problem with that but many people do so only you can know if doing that works for you.
The term "First priority" carries no meaning for me. I suspect you know what you mean, but lacking context you have proposed an unanswerable question.

Maybe, but with the last 2014 TPW of 8/4 ending on 8/8 I would think they would complete the last MY14's by 8/8, but there is the possibility of a strangler or two needing to be completed during the next TPW.

mracer14 has posted this in three different threads and has never responded to multiple requests for documentation/proof/whatever.

I would think its entirely possible to deliver corvette c8 s to the dealerships across the country and begin selling them ..
i believe the dealers market adjustment pricing would be substantial
i think launch editions are .part of that thinking.
loaded up similar models with pricing a few grand above customer ordered vehicles...
i would never pay extra for a launch edition yet it would make it easier to fill chevy showrooms across the country more easily..
if I were running the show it would be fully loaded c8 s landing at every major chevy corvette dealer in the country with a red, white and blue corvette on the showrrom floor to wow the public ...
never happen but thats what I would do...
i think that woukd be a hell of statement for the brand...
At the very least send those three different color corvettes fully loaded to the top 100 corvette volume dealers across the country ...
maybe more if the factory could produce more and get them out ...
have the dealers load them into the showrooms at night ...and then the next day announce on social media the dealer showroom unveiling ...
