Default Automatic handbrake release
How to set the handbrake to Automatically release when you in gage in first gear & want to drive away?

It will release when the car moves. It takes a bit of practice to make it smooth, though, and I prefer to release it manually.

My friend tried to drive the car,when he let go of the clutch it turned off.he said his friends car automatically disengages the handbrake

Is this only an M7 problem? I've never noticed it with my A6.
