Sorry to hear about the damage after such a short time of ownership. Mother nature can play havoc on us sometimes. I had an issue with Mother Nature on my way home from picking up my car. On my three day trip home from the dealership, I hit a deer on the third day and final leg home. Destroyed the front right side of my car. This happened on June 15 and it is still in the shop.
You sure had a lot more panels damaged than I had. I hope they can get the parts quickly and you can be back on the road soon. Good luck.

Andrew; All I can say is Iam very sorry for you. Your photo of your "little one" is more than just cute. Its precious. Try to stay positive and with a good body shop you can get your car back to 100%. When I saw your little one it does melt my heart.

That stinks, but at least for that little one's sake you're OK! Hope you get it fixed soon--you will love this car!

I've had 12 years of coverage with Progressive with no claims until this May when my Yukon got hit by the hail storms that swept through PA.

Then, less than a month later my 09 CTS-V was rear ended by an uninsured drunk driver while I sat at a light.

Now, less than a month from the last one, this happened.

I'm still quite upset because I'm getting married on August 2nd... and leaving the church in the Corvette was one thing I was really looking forward to. The only way that will happen is if they total the car, which I highly doubt, and buy another new one....

Happy to be here though.... just frustrated with the whole situation. Its been a crazy ride the last month and a half....

Man! Sorry that happened to you, and really glad you weren't injured. Cr@p! That's a pretty good-sized chunk of wood your Stingray shouldered for you.

It was beautiful before, and it's going to be beautiful again.

Holy Crap of all the cars it could have fallen on Right? So sorry to see this. Please find a good paint shop, that color is going to be an SOB to match im afraid. IMO you might have to re paint the whole side for it to look right so keep that in mind. Tell the shop to dial in the right amount of Orange peel as well. Next time find a bigger tree to park it under!

It seems that you always have to take a dig at GM in every one of your posts. This is a serious thread in what could have been a fatal situation and you just had to throw in the OP comment. Give it up already man.

I feel for you. I was glad to read that it wasn't a bunch of kids vandalizing the car. I hope you get it fixed soon.

Dig what dig? You want some panels smooth and some panels with orange peel? A good body shp can add orange peel to the re paint to match the rest of the car. When I had my fender re painted last year my shop told me "We will add the proper level of texture" to the newly painted surface to match the rest of the car. You think he has no orange peel? You work in the paint dept. at B/G maybe? GET REAL.

I get what you are saying. I think just about every panel got paint damage except the front bumper.... so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they'll probably paint the entire car...

Maybe I'll be the only corvette without orange peal LOL

That is unfortunate, but maybe the body shop will pain the entire car, wet sand it, make it better than new ...

I agree, but I'd bet OP knows of their reputation for excellence.

After such a large dose of bad luck, try a powerball ticket...you're luck has got to change!

Hoping this all works out for you.

@Complete Street..... First off, sorry to hear about your bad luck with vehicles as of late.

Regarding the Bank and owning the foreclosed house, would you mind keeping us informed on how they deal with this situation? Never know when this could happen to anyone on here....
