Default 2015 pricing

Does anyone have an update as to when 2015 pricing will be available?

Shouldn't be too far off for the Stingray. The Z06 will take a little longer according to rumors.

The wait on the ZO6 options and pricing is starting to get really hard on me.

It's amazing to see people posting updates for their 2015 orders, even though no official pricing seems to be available. I'm guessing the dealers were given some preliminary pricing to allow people to order now. Not sure why they don't just release it.

As for the Z06, I'm dying to know what the pricing will be. I'm torn between hoping it's within reach (trading my Z51), and hoping it's so high I can just forget about it. I guess I'll keep waiting.

dealers do not have any 2015 pricing at the moment. For me, not knowing the exact-to-the-penny amount... is moot at this point, since I can get very close with 2014 pricing guide.

Default 2015 prices

At Bloomington Gold a Corvette marketing guy announced that there would not be a price increase on the base car. He also said Z51 option will be going up and the A8 will command a higher price.

You and me both. They will be in short supply and the Dealer Markup will only lead us both to the second option, "so high I can just forget about it".

I think many here are guessing the Z06 Pricing will be around $70,000. I'm thinking at least $80,000 for the Base, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's substantially more. Besides, if you're going for it, you have to go all the way with the Z07 Package. It's all or nothing!

In other words, I'll be enjoying my C7 Z51 for a long while.

Is that the same guy that said the 8 Speed Automatic would only be available on the 15 Z06 and not the Base C7?

The Z51 Package would have to increase in cost because the NPP is included with it on the 2015.

Dealers do not get preliminary pricing. I state this because if they did they would communicate this info. I have never seen a dealer communicate pricing before pricing is released, other than best guesses, informed guesses, and maybe wishful thinking guesses.

Pricing is usually available about a month before the start of regular production. I can think of a few exceptions, which exceptions to me only prove the this generalization.

For what it is worth, I earlier today posted AUTOWEEK's $80,000 price tag for a base Z06 and I count this as an "inormed guess."

Autoweek still trys to be a decent publication. I'd trust them long before almost any other.
