Squeaky brakes
When brakes are heated up. I have a 7,500 mile service due in 350 miles. What should I tell the dealer service dept.? It seems that I remember someone here saying something about "burnishing the brake pads." Will this be free with service?

No! Do you really want some guy at your dealer taking your car to 30mph and slowly easing on the brakes 30 to 50 times to cure the squeaking. An assignment like this probably goes to the lowest paid and likely lowest IQ guy in the shop being chosen to drive your pride and joy. Find an empty parking lot on an early Sunday morning and do it right by doing it yourself...just saying
