Default License plate screws?

So i got my car with a paper tag which was taped to the inside window..

What size screws do I need to attach my real plate? Or are they hidden somewhere in the car?

Thanks!

They should be in the plastic bag with the plate holder.

Plates are generally attached with self tapping hex head screws. They will screw into the nylon inserts on your car.

I'm not sure what size thread but I would guess around a No 12. To remove any guessing, go you your local auto store, ORileys, AutoZone, etch, and they'll have them pre-packaged.

The Aero Plate comes with fasteners to attach it to the car, but not the license plate to the Aero Plate. I drilled a 1/8" hole in the small pimples on the Aero Plate that are marked for a standard license plate and the used #10x3/4" stainless screws to install the license plate. You will need to bend the license plate in the middle just a little to make it sit right.

If the low height is legal in your state, attaching your front plate to the aero panel mount is a MUCH better looking solution than the GM-supplied plate holder
