Default Got back to hotel in Nashville after BG plant site tour and saw this

My wife and I toured the plantsite last week in Bowling Green. Great tour, by the way. When we returned to our hotel in Nashville, this was waiting for us in the parking lot.

I could have sworn I saw a fat guy with a long beard in a red suit behind the wheel of that 80,000lbs sled...

I'm curious if there are statistics for 2014 vets on black or chrome purchased wheels? I'm guessing 25% black and 75% chrome

That's exactly what I thought. Chrome still overwhelmingly appears to be the most popular.

Actually, according to a presentation made by Tadge at the 2015 unveiling at NCM, the stats he showed were - in rank order - 1. Black, 2. Chrome, 3. Silver

Also, Black interior was the overwhelming favorite.

Surprised me.

I had dinner with a friend who knows the wheel vendor. That's about what he was told.

With all those chrome wheels, I bet it's going to Florida and they probably are all Crystal red...

Looks like there's two Z51's with back wheels too.

Did you drive to the back of the plant? Thats where the shipment starts, there were at least 10 trucks and many-many C7s

No, I missed that. I wonder what's up with the covers - it's almost like the car's still a secret. You'd think GM would want to drum up interest in the colors.

Those are transport covers to protect them in shipment. The dealership where I bought my '14 gives the transport covers with the cars. Don't think I'd ever use it but what the hellz. It's in a bag sitting on a shelf in my basement.
