Help-I do want to curb my front end
The front end on the C7 is very long and eloquent. I bet those stingray horns are easily damaged by running over a curb. Does anyone have any actual performance experience with the curb alert that has been advertised on this forum (http://www.northamericantuning.com/S...rch=Curb+alert ). I have been very carefully so far but I'm afraid I may get sloppy as time passes. help!

I didn't have one for the first 2 weeks of owning my C7 and parking my car was alway nerve-racking to say the least not knowing where I was in proximity to the curb. Some times I was so far off the curb that id have to get back in my car to move it closer to the curb once I realized half my car was sticking out. once my curb alert arrived it's been easy parking without all the stress of worrying about if you'll curb the car. once u get it installed all you need to do you just calibrate it to the distance u want to park your car from the curb. after it's installed and all u be Reash that it's installed and calibrated all you have to do is make sure i beeps 3 times letting U know Its working

Just back in to parking spots... That was alwys my solution in my Camari and will be once I take delivery of the Vette. Especially with a rear camera it makes a ton of sense. It's actually statistically proven to be safer over all.

Good idea, proof reading.
Something that others might want to do once in a while.

You're probably the only person that actually wants to curb his/her front end.

When traveling and staying at motels/hotels with outdoor parking, is it a good technique to back into a parking space to minimize the possibility of someone towing the car?

I back in because you are parking, you can see everything around you, there are no "Blind spots." When leaving and you're head in, you can't see if a car is flying down the row if there's two cars on either side of you.

Do you think that someone towing a car away cares about dragging it up a flatbed?
