I find that the new Corvette is like a Chateau Margaux 1971 which is my favorite, but I won't give up buying a new Vette for it!

"four models"....so that includes the Z06 model, which we don't even know the MSRP of yet.

Wow. Glad I put in my order last week! I would have been pissed if my indecision cost me $1k.

I just emailed my dealer to double-check they're following the same protocol regarding orders entered and at 1100 before today will still get the supplier pricing based on the MSRP at time of order.

I think that these continuous price increases are ridiculous. I thought that GM was on the right track by holding the 15 prices steady with no increase, after the huge mid-year 2014 price increase. In my opinion, the Corvette is no longer the big bang for the buck that it used to be in previous years/generations. I am glad though that I placed my order for my 15 at the old price when the order bank just opened in late June

I just e-mailed my dealer as well. I too want to get my employee pricing on the old price. Post when you get a response please.

If I had an order in I would go to the dealer/call him and have him print out a workbench with today's date. Unless you are lucky and have a email relationship with him, DON'T EMAIL....go get it....or call voice to voice ( no voicemail) ....Because in 5-6 weeks when he gets the invoice it will be at a higher amount that he has to submit for. And it won't be for a thou, as that's not his dealer invoice cost. And many dealers just get everything confused because frankly, they have a lot of incentives and customers and they lose track. A signature by the GM/GSM/SM on the workbench wouldn't hurt either.

I'm working with Ken Fichtner who is the owner of his dealership. He's been great at responding to emails either same-day or next-day from first inquiry through order follow-up. I figure email allows him to respond when he has a free moment as opposed to calling which would be interrupting. I have no worries about him not responding.

Glen....wouldn't my existing workbench serve as proof? Thanks for the clarification.

If the high demand continues expect to see another increase mid model year. From a business perspective they would be foolish not to do so.

I will assume that the Z06 will be included and whatever the MSRP was will now be $1k higher.

I think I'm going to give my pre-March price increase Z51 a hug when I get home today.

Ken Fichtner already replied confirming it will be the price at the time the order was submitted and supplier pricing based on that.

"...Yes, we always honor the price that we quote when we place an order..."

This is another reason why Ken Fichtner rocks!

For those that are financing or on a budget, keep in mind that $1000 is only around $14 more per month, at current interest rates. No need to panic.
