Some may think this is heresy, but...
It's about time Chevy dumps the smiling grill so that the front of the Vette looks as drop dead gorgeous as the rest of the car. I've never been a fan of Caddy's art and science theme, but Chevy can do better than Mazda's "have a nice day" front end. The C7 has all the right angles except in the front, which looks like it belongs on some other vehicle. Take a look at the similar design cues of this Lamborghini. Not suggesting Chevy should copy this, but an angular front end is a natural for the C7. Maybe Chevy felt dumping the round taillights and the smiling grill in the same year was just too much for the faithful.

I'm surprised no companies have offered aftermarket front bumpers. All that is out there are grilles and front lips... I'm tempted to photoshop some front bumper ideas up......

When I first saw this photo, this is the impression I got:

I think the view from the driver's seat will be much better with the C7 seeing the front hood as you drive. I hate the look of seeing no front hood, reminds me of driving in a van which I think is what you will get with the Lamborghini shown.

Do you smile like this?
In any case, the car needs that as a function of having the engine in the front. The Huracan doesn't need a large front opening because it doesn't need to feed a large front mounted radiator. The radiators are mounted in the quarter panels.

I don't know if a car that looks like it has two, elongated front teeth is better. And, looking at the C7 grille, I don't see a big grinning face like a Mazda. But I will give you a smiling face....

Yea, I took a bit of literary license with the Mazda smiling face, and of course there are engineering constraints to the front end design, but a more angular front end would complement the rest of the car. The C7's front end looks dated and to my eyes, is by far the least attractive view.
