Default Talking Auto transmissions at the plant today

I was at the assembly plant today doing the tour. At the end you're at what is called final process. It's where the repairs are done and the cars are coded in shipped on paper. I was talking to one of the employees who works in the repair area. As our conversation turned to the automatic transmission cars being held he told me that he was told in was a computer issue and the cars were to be reflashed with an updated program. No mechanical repair was needed. Software people are now doing the reflashing. The repair department is working 12 hour shifts and they are making progress. Other than the trans issue he said build quality has been very good. He sounded legitimate and we were just 2 guys talking Corvettes away from the crowd. Didn't see any orange cars and only 2 Z06 cars on the line

Why does the new ZO6 have two Trans coolers, I know it it has more HP. Why is GM not adding the additional Trans cooler to the 2015 Z51.....My 14 A6 Z51 overheats on the track..
I hope this new A8 dosnt have the same overheating as the A6 ! This only happens on the Track....GM states the Z51 is track ready! Not quite yet!

Not only does the Z06 have more horsepower, but its possible the transmission is tuned differently causing even more heat generation.

The A8 is supposed to be better at staying cool, but we'll have to see how it does in the real world.

Notice that the Z06 isn't out yet. Its possible that at some point they might make the extra cooler an option on the Z51 at a later time. Perhaps someone will figure out how to add it to existing Z51s.

It is a bit of a disappointment that the car is supposed to be "track ready" yet there are these transmission issues, not to mention those brake cooling rings. Seems like it just "almost track ready".
