Regular Car Reviews' Unconventional and Hysterical Take on the C7
There’s just something about these Regular Car Reviews guys. I can't quite put my finger on it, but any time I come across one of their videos, I find myself playing through it at least three times.
There’s no question their pieces are highly entertaining. The trouble is, sometimes you're just not sure whether they're paying the vehicle a compliment, or being condescending in their reviews, which have included Corvettes in the past and any other new or used car they can get their hands on.
Their most recent subject is the C7 Corvette, which they describe in their video summary as, “America's desire to be taken seriously in the eyes of Europe.”

LOL, "Beef Thermometer", too frickin funny! THAT was the best line.
He's a little like the old Dennis Leary machine-gun-delivery.

I love Regular Car Reviews. The videography may be a bit amateur-ish but the commentary and analysis is genius. They also looked at the C6 Corvette some time back, and if I was local to them I'd offer up my C5 for one of their videos with no hesitation.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you can get past the off-handed commentary they do offer up legitimate critique and analysis, and usually spend the last minute or so really laying out the real deal of the car. I thought their Miata review some time back was pretty amazing actually and may be one of the best analysis of a Miata, even outside professional mags. The only one I didn't much care for was the Fiero video they did, but I think that's because both it was a major departure from their regular (no pun intended) reviews, and that I have a personal soft spot for those cars.

I dunno... It dogged the C7 out for being too modernized for all intents.. after complimenting it for being.. ADVANCED. Lotta contradictions.
I did agree that the use of a E-Parking brake versus a manual lever is beyond me in terms of logic. I understand it in my Cadillac VCoupe.. but no in a Chevy Corvette. I'm not even gonna lie and say that I would trade my 2014 in for an identical 2015 witha manual Parking Brake

That was certainly a different kind of review.

Thought it was pretty infantile. I’m by no means PC but the childish sexual innuendo was inappropriate and contributed absolutely nothing to the review. “Beef thermometer” really? Sounds like 8th grade gym locker room. Don

I could only handle a couple of minutes of this obnoxious juvenile attempt at pretending to be a car reviewer.

At 4:28 in the video he says "With BMW you're paying more for the brand than the actual product and the same can be said of Corvette." Wait....What?? Is he serious? All of this performance and technology for $60k and he thinks we only paying for the name.
