Really?????? I don't understand why this type of thing gets front page status. I love owning a Vette, but this stuff (and all the other ridiculous crap people do to their Vettes) makes it embarrassing sometimes to be a part of the Vette community. No wonder Porsche and Ferrari owners snicker in the background. Reminds me of the junk people used to do with Ford Pintos and Mustang II's. But a Vette? Come on....my respect of this forum goes down with each post of this type of thing. I get revved up by all the cool posts and then one like this (and several others like it) comes along and rips a little bit of soul right out of each and every Vette out there.
You have to wonder who died and made the OP "CorvetteForum Editor".
I'm sure he's posted other things equally since then.

Melting Slicks
To each his/her own. Somebody obviously likes it. I respect it! God bless America where you can do and express what YOU like!

Burning Brakes
I love it. Very cool. I usually don't like any mods such as logos, decals, fender flares, skirts, etc. but for some reason this grill gives the car some personality.
