Glad we don't have to have a plate on the front yet here in Tennessee.
Posted for those owners that do. . I can see it now ..
Officer: do you know why I pulled you over.
corvette owner: Uhhh Speeding ?
Officer : No front plate on on your car, and this state requires it.....license and registration please.
Corvette owner : are you sure Officer ? Maybe you should check again.
Officer : Say what ! I must be loosing my mind. I could have sworn it wasn't there..

I haven't gotten a ticket yet, but I'm resigned to the $124 dollar solution. Pay the no plate ticket if i get one because plates look terrible on this car.

Prefer to pay the fine, but so far in the last 10 years of driving a Vette with no front plate have never been issued a ticket. I am certain though if pulled over for something more serious they would add on the no front plate but otherwise they are pretty tolerant of this petty infraction.
Let's be honest there is no way to install a front plate on a C7 Vette without detracting from its looks.

I had one (Show N Go) on my C6. The rack is visible when the plate is retracted and it’s not worth the trouble. It’s a flimsy design that should only be considered for Garage Queens. It will not stand up to typical road dirt & grime. It’s the first thing to kiss a curb, once it hits, the rack gets damaged beyond repair. I replaced mine once then destroyed that second one the day before I traded in the car.
