Default Another Xpel Question

I don't want to hijack the other threads. So, I'll ask:

How much of the car do you guys cover? The bumper, half hood, half fenders, mirrors, skirts around the wheels?

Let me know. Thanks.

Different people have different opinions on this. I covered the front bumper, full hood, full front fenders, mirrors, door pull opening and full rocker panels up to the seam on the rear fender between the door and wheel well opening (the original OEM film was removed).

Full panels eliminate the lines where the film ends. Besides, the entire hood is subject to being impacted by debris because the front of the car is so low. I had 2 or 3 dings on my C6 way beyond what a half hood film would cover.

If I were to have my new C7 covered in the same areas you describe how much would it cost? I live just north of Augusta, GA so I guess I would try to find someone in Augusta or Columbia, SC.

In addition to Zymurgy's coverage, my installer also did the rear quarters behind the wheels all the way to the top seam. I also had him do the spoiler. It's a high lift-over. He also did the area on the hatch between the window and the spoiler where you push to close all the time. I had the paint professionally polished before the Xpel went on. I think just the Xpel was ~$2,800.

My entire car is covered (and about to be REcovered!) with the exception of the doors (above the flares), rear fascia and hatch area. Other than that, I have a car condom baby!
