Constraint Reports

Not sure how the constraints work. I have an allocation and the dealer called today and said if I don't remove the carbon flash ground efx package it will not be built? Does this mean the car will be built soon? It is a Canadian order.
The dealer said they were only accepting 8 ground efx packages in Carbon Flash for Canada, seems awfully low?

Just order the ground effects from Bob at Rimrock chev, and mention the forum, I ordered a set, for like $3500 after shipping and conversion. You will wait forever if you don't drop a constraint.

On July 3rd I was informed by my dealer that the estimated constraint release on Long Beach Red Tintcoat was 8/14/2015. I opted to change the color on my order.

I placed an order on July 3rd as well, have you heard anything. I hear that no allocations have been accepted in a few weeks by GM?

Please check the first page of this thread... The only week indicating no allocations was May 7. The most recent reports did indicate no Z06 allocations. It appears that there have been coupe allocations for several weeks now.

If I knew it was that bad, I would have went with Kerbeck. He's less than 2 hours from me. Although the dealer I went with ranks around 53 in Corvette sales in the country and has a floor devoted to vettes. So maybe there's hope. According to them, I'm next on the list.

Ordered the wife's March of last year, car was built early May and we picked it up at the Museum on our time table on June 13th. Ordered through Mike Furman at Criswell, all arranged across country with ease.
6-8 weeks is common once the system gets up to speed for the model year. If in doubt, go with one of the big forum dealers and you'll be surprised how quick and painless it is.

Never tried it, but I figure I would get the same result if I speak to someone on the phone. They told me no dice. Got a hold of someone at the dealership. Same story. See you next Thursday...

Sounds fishy... Many were strung along all through the 2015 model year only to not get an allocation for their order altogether. Make sure your status is at least 1100 and that you have an order number.

My dealer just called and my order was accepted today. It was placed on 6-29-15 and my TPW is 8-10 to 8-14.

May 22 - Put down deposit and place order.
June 23 - I e-mailed my dealer to ask about status and my order # so I can call customer care. He provides it. I call customer care, no dice.
June 27 - I ask dealer for Workbench Order. It states the order is 4 days old. Shouldn't it be 35+ days old?
Looks like when I asked for the order # he probably realized he never put it in and did it on the spot. Great! Maybe I'll get my first Corvette in time for a 2 foot snow storm.
