Just a quick update (I have posted this info on another thread but maybe this will illustrate how crazy build dates are now: up until a few weeks ago my TPW was 11-9, then went to 1-18-16 Nov. 1st and then one week later 11-23 and yesterday moved up to 11-16. The production code also moved up from 3000 to 3300. What I have learned it is out of our hands and up to the great Chevy God in the sky.

Received update; the production code has gone up to 3400, shouldn't be long now.

Although I can understand your frustration TPWs can radically changes based on supply & demand. On the supply side due to sales exceeding forecast by a wide margin GM is constrained by their suppliers ability to deliver Z06 parts beyond their planned production rates. This can happen to any manufacturer, I'm sure you read the many iPhone stories in regards to shortages over the years.

Any updates on a constraint report for 11-12? Haven't seen one anywhere?

Default No allocations?

So production of Z06s will pause after the last ones are delivered in April or May?
I read from other threads that the next Z06s then will be delivered in Sept. as 17s correct?
My goal is to order a 17 Z06 after I can see what will be offered. That way if I don't see any significant changes I might be looking at the Grand Sport.
My heart is drawn to the Z06 though.
This is the most "no lose" situation I can think of.

I heard that Watkins Glen Gray and Sterling Blue have a start up restriction.

First consensus was generally believed to be yesterday. However, there were no 2017 allocations yesterday. Watkins Glen Grey and Sterling Blue will likely have startup restrictions when 2017 allocations start.

It'll be interesting to know what they say. My dealer also told me that M7 was on constraint.

As for Watkins Glen Grey, if that will also have restrictions... I will be very sad.

What would generate a constriction on body color?

Takes them awhile to switch over the paint line to new colors I guess. It happens every year. My dealer just told me that Black Rose is not listed as a constraint but that it shows "Late Availability" when he tries to put it in which means to me.......who knows when???? Bummer.

I ordered my GS on 5/26 and my dealer did in fact show me his paper work showing he had allocation for a 2017 Corvette.

As anxious as we might be, there's little to do but wait.

I was told last week that 7 speed manuals were on constraint. Hard to believe that a sports car like the Corvette could have a constraint on manual trannys. I guess we'll see what comes up today. I sure wish whomever was keeping this constraint thread up date would start doing it again. Hope he's ok.

I want to order a new GS but only with a M7. I hope the constraint rumors are just that.
