Would you take the cash or the new Corvette?
I certainly have heard of them, but I guess by being a huge Corvette fan, I kind of forgot they really existed. I mean, how many people do you know would pass on a 2015 Corvette in favor of $55,000? Clearly, one is Dr. Chuck Schumacher, who when given the option of a Stingray or the money, opted for the cash after winning a raffle held in conjunction with Mid America Motorworks Corvette Funfest in Illinois.

Since I already own a C7 that I am completely happy with, I'd take the cash. Frankly, for almost any vehicle I won in a raffle, I'd take the cash option if available. I already have the vehicles I want to own.

Cash for me please. I love my C7 and wouldn't change one thing about it.

Cash, and put towards my C6 to boost it up then take a trip. Not a fan of any of the C7 Vettes. Headlights resemble a Cadillac, with the rear lights resembling a Camaro. I wish the rear lights would have been left alone. That is the primary symbol of the Vette.(Of course, this is only my opinion....)

cars depreciate so much...... as soon as you drive off the lot.
cash is a better deal.. buy a 2 year old vette and save yourself 20 grand.

That would be a hard decision.
On the one hand, since I already have a Vert (or two), winning a coupe would be cool. On the other, taking the money and paying off the Vert (or investing it, since I'm paying practically no interest) would be the sensible thing to do. I only have garage space for two anyway, and the '05 would lose that coin toss w/o question.

Of course you have to pay taxes on either, but if you dont have the cash to pay the tax on a new car what good is it. With the cash you just take the taxes off the top and pocket the rest.
Ive seen some car givaways that pay the taxes on giveaway cars - thats a better deal.
