NPP buyers: Would you buy it again, or go with aftermarket
Trying to decide on getting NPP or going aftermarket. I had a set of Corsa Sports on my C6 and loved them, but never experienced NPP. If you have bought NPP, are you satisfied or dissatisfied for any reason? Will be going on an A8 equipped car.

I really like my '14 NPP with the A6, IMO, much improved over my previous '08 and '10 C6's even with Mild to Wild and "collar" after market sound controllers added.
I believe it is now included with the Z51 option.

If you buy a 2015 Z51 you have no choice, it's included.
Even if I were to buy a non-Z51, I'd still buy the NPP for a few reasons.
One, I can quiet down the cabin on long highway trips, makes it a lot more pleasurable to talk on the phone or listen to music.
Two, here in the Commonwealth of Virginia, State Troopers like to hand out "Modified Exhaust Tickets" With my ARH LT's it gets LOUD but if I get pulled over, I shut the valves and it will leave the trooper confused.
Get the NPP and add ARH LT's. They sound A LOT better than the videos sound. Ever since I've installed my ARH, my MPG went from some 26 down to 19-20 AVG

I have it on my '14 Z51 with Ride Control. I love it, it's loud enough for me, and easy to control by using the settings, or just switching the driving mode.

I had Corsa sport and x-pipe on my C6 and loved it. I have the NPP on my C7 and wish I didnt get it and used that money for a new Corsa exhaust. The NPP is not loud enough when you get on it and Corsa does a great job in making their system quiet until you are on the gas.

I'd do it again. Had Borla Stingers on my C5 they totally rocked. Borla has a catback for the C7 that I would check out, but it is a replacement for the NNP system on the C7. Anyway I think the NPP system is very nice..

Imo, there are louder and throatier exhausts , but nobody so far beats the combo of volume, timbre, electronic integration and resale than the NPP option. And quite a deal at the price, Porsche's option is 3k.....

I like being able to switch from quite to loud. I installed a "mild to wild" remote switch on my 2012 Grand Sport for the same reason. I installed the Magnaflow Competition Series dual 18-inch resonator only system on my 2011 and it was really loud and sounded sweet but of course I didn't have the option of switching to quite mode which is really nice.
From a performance perspective I think the Stingray with NPP in track mode is just as good as any aftermarket system. It simply comes down to what sound you like...

Definitely no regrets. I have Magnaflows on my C6 & do not like the drone, even with two layers of Dynamat.
The ability to mute the note on long drives is well worth it to me.

My other half has a C6 with LT's, dual cutouts, and Borla Stingers - that is our official "wake the neighbors," car. NPP is perfect for me, could be a tad louder but hey, all the more reason to get on the gas more to hear that exhaust And you really can't beat the price!

Love the NPP set up on my C7. You are not losing anything for just $1100. Throw a set of headers with the NPP, then you have a different ball game as far muscle sound......sounds like a beast.
