I would like both roofs on my to-be-ordered '15 Stingray, but I wonder if I can save a few hundred dollars by ordering just the painted roof and then buying the COMPLETE glass (poly) roof separate. Adding the glass roof to the order will add a little less than $2000 plus tax. I saw some older discussions that said I could order a glass roof for $1500+. I was thinking by now it might be even cheaper.

(I saw some past threads discussing roof purchases, but wasn't sure what the current position is. I apologize if this is a repeat.)

So, if I want both painted and glass tops, would I save a bit and have the same result by getting the glass top on my own? TIA.

Well, if you order the dual roofs, your car will not be built. Dual roof (painted plus transparent) is constrained at 0% and has been for a long time. Besides, it is cheaper to but the transparent roof from one of our forum discount parts dealers than it is from the factory.
