I think they look so much better with them as they do with the Vipers. My concern is the quality - how will they last. It would be better (quite a bit more $) that they were painted in.

Since I date back to the 70's muscle car era, I've always liked the look of the full length racing stripes, but I see relatively few in the pictures posted on the forum. Just wondering if most people think they're over the top, dorkey, out of style, what?

I was thinking about ordering red stripes on blade silver.
I built my BS coupe on line with the red racing stripes but I ordered the 3LT AR interior and red calipers and didn't feel the crystal red would be bright enough so left them off the order.
So far I like the car without stripes but if I add them later I'll probably use some closer to Torch Red.
According to a popular Corvette production numbers book, of the 37,xxx Stingrays produced in 2014, there were 820 units ordered with the one of the five different color dual full-length racing stripe options.
While I think C7s of all colors look great with or without the dual full-length racing stripe option, surely there are more such optioned C7s on this forum. So, let's see some more photos of Stingrays with the dual full-length racing stripe option.
