Default CFZ - CF Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package Availability on 2015 Stingrays

Can anyone confirm if they are building 2015 Stingrays with the CFZ carbon fiber ground effects package. My dealer is saying that GM dropped this option and is only allocating the ground effects package to Z06's. In fact he stated that they never built a 2015 Stingray with CFZ option.

Your dealer is correct. CFZ has been constrained at 0% since start of 2015 production. Supply has been diverted to Z06's where it is also severely constrained. If you want a non-Z06, drop CFZ from your order.

What does the % mean? I get that 0% means they are not accepting orders for that item, but, for example, the painted rooftop is at 35% ...

35% means what?

Thanks

I received my order number today, with painted roof, so I'm just trying to understand what Impact I might see due to this.

That means no more than 35% of orders will have painted tops. If you are past 2000 you are going to get your car,

I just talked to the dealer - I didn't realize that when they are given their allocation, it depicts how many cars within that allocation are allowed to have painted roofs, and mine is one of them, so I think I'm in good shape.

Thanks

Should your dealer know how this works and let you know if you order something that has a low or zero probability of being delivered?

SHOULD they? Yes. Maybe not the salesperson, but certainly the General Manager.

LET YOU KNOW? Probably not. If they know they have little chance of getting you your car in a reasonable time and they tell you - you take your business someplace else. They figure they can maybe get it sometime, so they string you along - not giving up the sale.
