Good Evening Customers & Friends,
I think at this point it is needless to say I am certainly out of stock. I have been putting everyone on a list according to the date and time stamp that I received your message. That is always the way I have done it and it is the most fair.
People are asking about the color. To me in the scoop area they look Carbon Flash and then the rest looks black, but I could be wrong. The rest of the grille is so thin, but I am fairly certain this is the case.
I do have a photo but it is watermarked and I cannot post it until further notice.
If you're interested in getting on the list please send me an email to gene@gmpartshouse.com, for now, and I will add you to the list, again according to the date and time stamp.
In regards to the shipping, my new website is setup to calculate exact shipping costs so when we ship I will just need to get your zip and we can calculate it correctly. It is running anywhere from $25 to $61 to the West Coast (from the East Coast).
I do appreciate the well wishes, support and many emails from all of the forum!
Thank you,
Gene.

I'll confirm what Gene said - the grill is Carbon Flash painted, but the honeycomb is very thin, so it's hard to tell.
I can confirm, though, that the entire grille is sprayed from the molding marks.
So, long story short, the grille is finished in Carbon Flash.

It is really a phenomenon regarding the finish. A person that hasn't seen it would say "What's so hard about the color? Is it Carbon Flash or not?" ... lol, but really it is a visual phenomenon. It is a very sexy grille though!

Anyone wanting to sell their stock grill, I have a couple mod ideas I want to work on this winter involving the stock grill. Thus, I want to buy your stock grill....send me a PM if you are inclined to sell yours.

I agree.
I'm not trying to put anyone down or start a war. Remember, this is simply MY opinion.
FOR ME, regardless of the reason I wanted to do it, I wouldn't take parts from one model and put it on another. I completely agree that the Z06 grille looks better. But, there are lots of vette freaks out and about, that would ridicule/shame someone for "posing"...especially at shows. I'm not one of them, but I see it all the time. I hear things like "what a DB, he couldn't afford the real thing."
Personally, I'm a fan of ALL vettes and their owners. As evidence sometimes in this forum, people can be pretty cruel and judgmental.

Hi Gene,
If you have another Z06 grill and they fit on the 2014 C& Z51, I'll take one. How would you like payment.
Thank you,

Received mine yesterday, and hubby installed it today. Took him about 1.5 hours. (Thanks, Gene, for hooking us up!)
Here are a couple pics of the new grille part numbers:
And, some before and after pics of the install:
He also switched out the chrome emblems on the front and back to the darker ones, and painted the "Corvette" letters black on the back bumper. (He already swapped out the fish on the sides to darker ones a few months ago.)

Mine just came today. Thanks Gene!!
Now I need to wait for a warmer day to take it to the garage for install.
Looks like from the pictures, the Z06 grille brake duct opening was a good match to the Z51 brake duct.

Hi Gene, I do not want to open any old wounds, but I just found this (below). Were you able to get with another dealership or are you getting GM parts through a wholesaler?
Hello All,
As you know, myself and GM Parts House have been affiliated with Patriot Buick GMC since 2009. Effective 10/1/2014 we are no longer affiliated. All of the financials were through Patriot Buick GMC accounts. This includes PayPal and credit card accounts.
With that said, I cannot charge or refund anything through those accounts at this time. I do not have access to your orders or order information any longer.
Please contact Patriot Buick GMC at 610-367-8800 to get your order status or a refund.
Thank you,
Gene Culley.
