How many would rather have a C7 Z51 over a C6 ZR1?
I was driving in a nice part of town over the weekend with a friend of mine in my C7 Z51 and saw a very stunning red ZR1. I waved the whole time but I got no wave back though the ZR1 driver did eye my car heavily as I drove by. I don't think he liked how much better the C7 looked and how much younger I was IMO there's really no settling for less than a C7 now if you are looking to by a C4, C5, C6 or, C7. The C7 is such a big improvement over the previous years that it has made them really obselete in many ways.

[QUOTE=Pocket Aces;1588338926] I waved the whole time.... /QUOTE]
I'm picturing this.
Don't let your head get too big. That ZR-1 owner may return your wave as he blows past you in a C7 Z06 in a few weeks.

I've always had a great respect for Corvette-just because of what it was. But....the looks and styling were not at a point where I said, "I've got to have a Corvette."
With the release of the C7, I finally said, "Now THAT'S a Corvette I'd love to own."
I went to Bloomington Gold with a friend who owns a 2012 ZR1. He's got more power-my C7 has more sex appeal. That's more important to me......

You should ask that question in the C6 forums.

I'd rather have a C7 Z51. I love the new body style and the performance difference doesn't matter to me because I mod everything anyway lol. The Z51 I just ordered came to 70k so I'm sure I could have hot a nice low mile ZR1 for that but id prefer a new stingray.

I'd take the ZR.

I feel the C6s are obsolete in many ways. The interior of the C6 is like a mid 1990s car and the exterior is just a slight bump over the C5. The C7 is a major advancement in all aspects.

They're still Corvettes, and bad to the bone.
However if I had to choose between a C6zr1 and a C7 Z51, it would be the c7. Personal preference on options, styling, technology, etc.

Well I did have C6 and you really can't argue with the differences in reviews of the C6 and C7 especially in the international markets. I liked the performance to cost value of the C6 but it holds no candle to the C7.

I'm taking the C7 for the same money, but when I buy another Vette I will look at buying another C6 b/;c you can get a C6 with a blower putting down about 600 WHP for around $30k. Not sure that will outweigh how much I want a C7, though.
