you lucky SOB's!! lol OK, got home from vacation early this morning and I'm back in corvette build mode!! It's tuesday of TP week and i would like to know more!! Is there a way to find out if the car is actually on the production line yet?? Customer Care Chat? anywhere??

It's up to your dealer.
Also, I wonder if the buyers who are picking up at the NCM get first build priority. No NCM pickup for me, and through Tuesday at noon I haven't heard anything.

I think it may have been mentioned in this thread, however when I went to chat yesterday, they told me the information was updated weekly. So, in this context, chat won't do you any good.
It's up to your dealer.

Did your car go in early or something? I thought it took 3 1/2 days to build our cars???
The car was built today. We're just waiting for the invoice to get to Classic Chevrolet. I guess we're at 3800, awaiting 4150.

I'm using this thread as a 'blog', so I'm posting everything I know about the build.
It appears that dlparsons had their car ready by yesterday (Monday 12/15/14 with TPW of 12/15/14), so knowing this, along with knowing about my car, I can assume it only takes one day to build.

My car came off the line yesterday, 12/16 and I have my VIN.
Now just need to wait for delivery.
Bittersweet though......about the time my Vette came off the line, my Acura MDX's transmission gave out on me. Gonna severely reduce the extras I can get for my Stingray.

Just spoke with my dealer. Mine is built also. He emailed me yesterday. Don't know how I mussed that email. Yeah. Any idea how long for delivery.

Car has been found, safe and sound (never really lost of course - just a paperwork glitch). GM Manager called me this morning, which I thought was a very nice thing to do instead of leaving it to my dealer to make the call. I also have my OnStar activated now, I know exactly where my car is and can track it at any time now through it's journey home. FYI, it has 14 miles on it, which means it went through the extended QC, which I find very comforting as well.
How did you get the onstar activated, and once activated, how do you track it?
