Bumper paint peeling and xpel (not due to xpel)
As I've seen with someone else's car (my car has approx 1500 miles) I noticed the paint peeling where the bumper meets the fender. My car has xpel on it and obviously needs a re paint on the bumper. With my luck I'm probably going to have to eat the xpel cost too or no? Vin 24276.

mine has same pinhead missing paint that was bubbled at first.
Never removed bumper at all.
Be wary of a repaint, it will never match correctly in my experience with previous cars.
Try a small touch up by a pro if area is small.
Otherwise a mismatched bumper will be more obvious than a very small touch up.
Thats my advice. I would also skip a GM dealers attempt to respray whole bumper period.
Gobto MB dealer or Porsche dealer and ask who does the touch ups for them.
They probably farm it out to a touch up specialist.

The bumper fitment is too tight and it is likely that you will continue to have this problem until you have it adjusted properly.

Same on my Z51 Blade Silver. Front bumper was repainted under warranty last month. I lost my VentureShield clear bra as a result and now need to re-install. Luckily I did it myself so it is just material cost.

the panels are flexing and rubbing don't think this can even be fixed without a panel redesign or having the gap widened by sanding. once repainted you could have the xpel applied before installing and have it wrapped over the edge so its xpel on xpel that might work. You guys should email these pics to the plant but im sure GM has known about this already.

well sorry to hear about your car OP (and the rest of you guys) just an ironic thread compared to the post by a few other members that swear their panel gaps/fitment are 100% perfect... unfortunately only those three fellas got the corvettes put together perfectly correct (sarcasm)...
I would bring it to the dealer and ask them to readjust so this doesn't get worse and furthermore ask if they can bring in a touch up specialist not Jose or the high school kid or whomever in the Detail bay, to professionally touch it up.. It will be much nicer than having a repainted bumper (not to mention the xpel application a second time..)

Melting Slicks
I experienced the same thing (driver's side) on mine following my trip to Road America in August. The extended drive/rubbing must have caused it. I just brush-touched it, polished it a bit, and called it good. I didn't want to get involved with any repainting/adjusting which could make things worse. So far it hasn't rubbed off my fix, but we'll see in the Spring when it's on the road again.

Safety Car
This is a very common problem on 2014 models. If you look at the 2015, you will see they're doing much better. We removed my front facia and readjusted the bracket which holds the facia corner down by the headlight. It's only about a 20 minute job.

Is this the same bracket that is so tight that it is causing some difficulties with the Z06 grille swap?

This same thign happened to my Volt. exactly same thing... Luckily I noticed it when we got the car and dealer fixed it.
They brought in a specialist who does minor paint jobs like this with some special fast curing stuff. He did SUCH a great job, you couldn't even tell. Unfortunately he was contracted out and didn't do private gigs, but i wish I knew what the process was called, so I can keep him on speed dial. What a guy...
Maybe look into one of those. Something like thsi perhaps. http://www.scratchanddentxpress.com/faq.html
they don't charge a ton either. Something like that would probably be 100 bucks or so.
