Today it was 80 degrees here in Scottsdale, AZ. I honestly don't know what month it is anymore. It just doesn't seem right wearing shorts and BBQ'ing by the pool in the middle of January lol

Let's say that we mount tires that are able to go through winter. Then the only argument remaining is about the damage that salt and chemicals can do. Supposing that there is damage? Which dealer has ever said to a customer, "We see that you've stored the car in winter and so we will give you more money for the trade-in." No dealer will do that, and so you have just saved your C7 so that millionaires can increase their profits. (Every dealership has a millionaire at the helm.)

My first Corvette was a 2000 C5. Never dreamed I'd ever be blessed to afford such a toy. Let's just say I replaced the wipers after 12 years. Car was a garage queen. When I traded it in none of that mattered.
I plan to trade my 14 for a 16 so I drive it everyday. Besides even if I kept it would never rust in my lifetime. It will be someone elses problem years from now.
TO me the only reason not to drive the car is if you know you can't get another.

Sunny and mid-40s here in Western Colorado today. Drove my C7 to work.
I suspect nobody on their death bed ever uttered the words "Gee, I wish I'd driven my Corvette less."

It's sunny and up to 15 degrees here, in East TN.

Yup. It's REALLY hilarious when someone posts about their Vette being worth more because it's never been driven in the rain. Um, nope. I've never understood saving a car for the next owner.

If he chooses to drive it in that kind of weather, more power to him. As for me, that's why I have a daily driver - no need to get the Vette out and have to worry about all the crazy drivers around here. Besides, if the roads were covered in snow, no way I would be able to get the car out anyway since I live at the bottom of a steep hill with only one way out.
