Z06 Stage One splitters arrived who who...
As soon as the threads started with the availability of the stage 1 splitters from GM parts direct, went online and ordered 2 at $85 each plus small shipping... Just arrived today.. Now need the car to arrive.
They look great, factory pieces that won't cause a myocardial infarction if they get scraped on a dip in the road. And the detailed install photos on here even I could do.
I love the look of the CF $1,000 ones but tough to risk wrecking them every trip with some of the parking lot bumps etc around south Florida.

You are the reason I got them Jake!!! My middle son is a tech for Raffi so know Windsor area well. Your car is outstanding! My AW z51, 3lt, mag, adrenaline interior / comp seats / auto is due end of jan, and I would have dropped big dough on splitter but this one is best of both worlds for awesome looks and price.
Thanks for all your efforts jake

Agree, on C7Jake posts. His posts are short, to the point, includes photos and provides links to other websites to help others.
He really knows how to make good posts here on the forum to help others.
He is also a very price point conscience guy. He finds great deals and is not shy to share the information.

Looks great. I'd get a base car and do the Z06 grill and stage 1 splitter and call it a day.

I have tried to order one thru different GM Parts suppliers and they all want a Z06 VIN# to sell one. Claim GM requirement.
Anyway around this?

I placed my order for the same item on 12/10/2014. I was informed after the order was placed and paid via Paypal that the splitter was on back order.
It will finally be delivered tomorrow via UPS from Winston-Salem, NC.
GMParts was very straight forward with me, and did not mislead me.
It seems that this part is in high demand.
While we all get excited to put this item on our new C7's, it takes a little bit of patience and time to get it in.
My order was placed with GMPartsDirect.com and payment went to Flow Chevrolet via PayPal.
Flow Chevrolet is a large GM dealer in the Winston-Salem, NC area.

GM Parts Online told me it was discontinued when I tried to order online and when I called them. The female salesperson wasn't helpful and didn't want to answer any of my questions. I have an order at GM Parts Direct. Eric and Karen have provided very good customer service. I placed my order in late December. The Z06 splitter is still on back order.

I got mine in on the 5th. Installed it today and it, along with the Z06 grille, really completes the front end. It works with the Z51 too, which some had questioned. Don't know why this was said originally. You have to reposition you front air dams but there already bolt holes there for you to do that. You remove the Z51 air dams, install the splitter, then you'll see the holes where you can then remount the Z51 air dams if you choose. I placed my order on 12/9 by the way. Thanks C7Jake for breaking this news to us. The grille and lack of something finishing that naked, upward curving bumper always irritated me about this car. Now it looks finished and mean. And I'm out less than $350 for all the parts. Had I gone aftermarket, I'd be out at least $1500. I'll post pics later.
