Default Nissan Quest vs 2015 C7

Last Monday my 2015 C7 with less than 500 miles on the odometer was t-boned by a Nissan Quest. The Nissan driver (who was ticketed for crashing a red light) and family were unhurt as was I. Thank goodness! C7 didn't fair too well, but did its job in protecting me.

Here is one before and a couple after pix:

Pushed to side of road by Highway Patrol to clear street.

C7 pointing south west, was headed due east before impact

Ouch! Hate seeing that. Glad you're okay. That's major damage, probably totalled.

Sorry about your Z.
I love the K1200RS! I have one just like it. Same color , same seat!

The car can be fixed or replaced. Your health cannot.

I know how you feel. I was driving my new 2008 Z06, when I had the same accident almost identical to yours. $12,000 later, I had a repaired car which I traded in for another new Z06, 3 weeks later. Paint (TR) didn't match, they didn't put the car back together with all the right pieces, etc.

Good luck on your repair.........

I think you may have enough pain to get a Z06.

It is unfortunate that there was an accident, and fortunate that no one was seriously injured.
Sorry about your car, it was a beauty. It can be replaced, not so with your health. Happy for you that you were not seriously injured.

Glad you are ok. doesnt Florida have one of those no fault laws in place though when it comes to insurance claims. Thought that I read something about it before. Anyhow hope that Van driver has good insurance. I have had my fair share with fighting for what is and was mine before a no fault of mine accident. Dont forget a diminished value and fight for every penny because if the car is fixed you will be slammed later on in this cars life.

Go get a Zo6 already and sell that dang Ford!!!

Brother things happen. Our 2013 G37 flooded after 3 weeks of us purchasing it. We didn't even make 1 payment on it LOL. God was good to us, and the vehicle was a total loss. We then got a 2014 Q50 instead once GAP covered the entire car and interest etc.

There is probably alot of damage and it will probably get totalled. Let's see what happens. Keep us updated

Man, if you had arrived at the intersection a fraction of a second sooner, the outcome would probably have been much worse. Sounds like everyone involved was fortunate.

I hope the insurance companies treat you fairly, and you get your car replaced soon.

Lets hope they don't try and fix it. If they total it you will be just fine.

Ouch! Sorry to read about your accident, however glad no one was hurt. If the insurance doesn't total out the car, get it repaired and then trade it in if your insurance doesn't cover a full replacement. I would not want to be driving a "new" car/Corvette with that extensive of a repair.

Drive your Mustang in the meantime and let us know what you end up with.

When I see something like this, I always wonder how much the remainder of the car is worth in parts.
